I have collected information and learning from so many different places, but two big ones when it comes to business and specifically marketing have come from listening to hundreds of podcast episodes from the "Sean Wes" podcast and "The Goal Digger Podcast with Jenna Kutcher." I don't emulate or align with these teachers' values. I don't follow Sean Wes' work any longer, but I did check in and noticed he has literally said nothing about Black Lives Matter. It's difficult for me to recommend his podcast, but I want to be transparent of where part of my marketing education has come from. You, of course, are getting my favorite nuggets from this learning filtered through my own radical lens.

If anything, may this inspire you that no matter where or who you learn from, you have your own unique and important way to share it. Your voice matters! Additionally, however uncomfortable, it's important to cite our lineage and admit where we learned things to keep everything transparent and to not claim things that aren't ours to claim, this is how lineages and information get lost and history gets rewritten!

While I recommend looking into the resources below, I don't endorse every single thing about these resources. As always, practice your own judgement.

Dare to Lead by Brene Brown (audio is great, highly recommend this one)

The Middle Finger Project by Ash Ambirge (audio is great, a bit capitalistic, but she's hilarious and inspiring)

Radical Candor: How To Get What You Want by Saying What You Mean by Kim Scott (great if you are looking to hire and/or build a team)

Whenever you learn something or even feel inspired by someone, practice citing them. Again and again. This is something that I sometimes mess up, as a white femme under racial capitalism, I have been taught to be able to take without honoring or citing for my own personal gain.
